A year ago, I wrote a "guide" for men which can be found at my old livejournal. However, since livejournal doesn't have a good search feature and before I lost it forever, I'll post it here before it's gone forever.

First things first

This is for the guys who don't have any idea or the guts on how to ask a woman out, talk to women or just get their attention. This is for the guys who loves a woman but can't get that woman. This is not for those who disrespects a woman, who intends to just break a woman's heart after dating or let's just say--jerks & players. (but most likely, if you'll read this and take some notes from it you'll be called a "jerk" even you don't intend to be one. but don't worry it's just a social norm)

Also, this is for those who wants to LEARN and are willing to change. So don't ask me "what if I don't want to change? I want women to love me as I am" BUT what if what you really are is a BORING, NOT GOODLOOKING and NOT SO CONFIDENT guy? Would you help me help you?

Let me explain this to you first. The world is unfair. If you're not goodlooking, most likely you have a very rare chance of getting a girl, a date or even just having a long conversation with them. So we'll take it through character. This is what defines an individual, his character and attitude.

Ever wonder why some really-not-so-goodlooking guys end up having beautiful dates in school? (this is so common in DLSU) If you'll observe those guy's attitudes, it's because even if they're not goodlooking, they act like they are. They converse and talk to women like they are some handsome guy. They make sure that they are not BORING to be with.

So there... let's take it step by step on how to be one.

Self Love

Some guys overlook this one, take this so lightly and take this one for granted. You have to invest in yourself first. MAKE YOURSELF LOOK GOOD! Duh! You're aware that you're not handsome or goodlooking and still you don't do anything about it. So here are the REMINDERS!

Always look good! Be at your best!

1. Posture - this is the key on being good looking. You may not have branded clothes but with posture, anything you wear will look good on you. Act like you have self-confidence. Chin up! Walk straight! Don't slouch! Women love men and not some sissy boys/girls.

2. Haircut - C'mon! Don't persist on a hair style you like but doesn't look good on you. This was my mistake before. (yes I'm taking this things from my experience) You should know what hair style fits on you and that will make you look good. Always keep the hairdo clean. Short is better! You're not a woman and it's not the 70's except that if you look like someone from F4 (dao ming ze? anyone?).

3. Facial Hair - This is optional. You have to know what the lady you're going out with wants. But to make sure... shave all of them. I know it hurts especially when you want them but a clean face is still better to kiss or even just to look at. The reason why it's optional is because some women want men who have goatees or beards.

4. FINGERNAILS - There are so many guys that has long fingernails. DUDE! Are you modelling for a nail polish? Your nails may be so small but most women look at them. Always get to cut them and clean 'em. Dirty fingernails is a no no especially if you have plans of holding a women's hand. Don't forget to cut those in your feet too.

5. Take a good bath - You think soaping yourself once is enough? Do it 3 times! Soap all the parts of your body including those that cannot be seen when you're wearing clothes. Always be CLEAN and feel fresh. You don't want something stinking don't you? Get a deodorant too! THIS IS NECESSARY.

6. Clothes - It may be the last but this is still important. You may have the posture, the good haircut, cleaned body and newly cut fingernails but without a good attire to jive them in... you fail. Ever wonder why women takes more than an hour to prepare themselves? It's because they choose what they will wear. THEY LOOK AT THEMSELVES IN THE MIRROR! (but you don't have to take that long.. you're a man.. not a woman. DUH!) This what you should think of when picking the right clothes:

a. color combination

b. pairing of the upper and the lower

c. socks should jive with shoes. DONT GET NEON COLORED SOCKS!

d. keep the shoes clean! and make sure it will look good with your pants.

Also take in mind that there are colors that suits you well depending on your body type.

i. Dark colors (navy blue, black, maroon) for belly man or somewhat chubby.

ii. light colors for those who have bulky or average bodies (orange, yellow, white)

Why are the colors important? It's because light colors will show the curves of your body more and dark colors will hide em.

I am nothing special; just a common man with common thoughts, and I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect I have succeeded as gloriously as anyone who's ever lived: I've loved another with all my heart and soul; and to me, this has always been enough.

No personality disorder? Wow. I got this test from Samantha.

I'm going back to my old job. I am one of the top 8 again. I still have to finish 2 website projects, 1 infomercial, 4 3D rendered graphics and complete a review. I just wish there will be a law that will make time become 30/7 instead of 24/7 to make it longer.

And so began the repeat of spaces. New theme, new look, new content and most of all same old name. I remember deleting my old live spaces to give way for making money in Second Life. However, I just felt like the linden dollar making should just be kept to my main blog at Chino Yray Dot Com.

Who is Chino?

I first started using Windows Live back in 2006 when it was still on Beta. I am one of the lucky who got their own @live.com email addresses. Good thing Microsoft decided for us to keep the @live.com email address. I became a Microsoft Connect tester for certain products like Windows Live OneCare, Vista Hardware Assessment and etc... They give free copy of the software in return to the help and feedback we give from testing.

That's how life started for me on Windows Live. I don't use Yahoo Messenger now because comparing to Windows Live Messenger, Y!M really sucks and needs to be debugged.
